Habitat:
Margin of indigenous forest and in clearings.
Notes:
Erect stemmed herb to about 75cm high. Leaves greenish, pale or whitish-green beneath. Capitula about 5mm long. Disc yellow. Phyllaries green entirely or upper parts purple, especially the latter when in more open sites. Fairly common but scattered.
