Notes:
Stems long creeping, whitish, lying just beneath surface of sand, or on the surface and pale greenish. Leaves on short lateral branches mostly, rather thick, concave and shining above, distichously arranged. Calyx teeth purple. Corolla white or very pale blue, irregular; lobes 6-8mm long, narrow oblong-elliptic or lanceolate. Anthers dark purple.
