Female. Very young tree; trunk scarcely developed. Leaves light green. Calyx lobes 5.5 mm, deltoid. Fleshy petals creamy white, 5.5-6 cm long, but strongly recurved and twisted in upper part, ± linear-oblong but upper part undulate. Stigmas pale, green, fleshy, 7-9 mm long, with finger-like processes. Fruit large, a typical pawpaw, ± oblong tapering towards apex, pendent, with 5 shallow rounded ribs. Probably spontaneous.
