Notes:
Semi-succulent plant with long stems straggling up through long grass and other tall herbs, sometimes rooting at nodes where touching the ground on slopes. Common to abundant, especially up sides of nearby lava cascade where it forms dense mats. Perianth bright blue; 2 large tepals 6-8 mm limb diameter, suborbicular with a large sinus (like a miniature Nymphaea leaf); claw of these tepals c. 4 mm long, very slender; third tepal ± clawless, c. 5 mm long, remaining partially folded.
