Notes:
Tree to c. 10 cm high, widespreading with many low horizontal branches close to the ground and forming a tangled mass with adjacent au trees. Leaves light grey beneath. Petals c. 6.5-7 cm long, yellow with dark crimson basal area, becoming orange and the flower closing by late afternoon. Fruit erect.
