Habitat:
Steep north-facing slope, margin of scrub.
Notes:
Small gnarled tree c. 2.5 m high, widespreading (wood collected). Flowers yellow, single or in very short racemes of up to c. 4 flowers. A single old fruit collected with dark brown seed (1). Only 1 tree found but a few seen elsewhere on Raivavae. Calyx at anthesis c. 1 cm long. Corolla yellow; standard c. 1.5-1.8 cm long; wings c. 1.7-1.8 cm long; keel c. 2-2.2 cm long.
