Habitat:
Subalpine montane volcanic slopes, generally open rocky habitats with loose volcanic pebbles (pumice).
Notes:
Erect sub shrub to 30cm high, 40cm wide, foliage yellowish green, petals white, anthers dark purple, growing on exposed rocky slope.
