Habitat:
Shelf on cliff face just S of first inlet N of point. Scattered shrubs of Westingia, tussock grass and Scirpus. Growing at base of cliff in seepage area; open, exposed situation showing evidence of fire. Sandy soil.
Notes:
Shrub 2 m tall, multistemmed from base, branching in pseudo-whorls, becoming decumbent. Flowers creamish-white, sepals greenish-white. Bark thick, deeply cracked lengthwise and crosswise. Half plant dead from fire.
