Habitat:
In water retained in plastic sheet along base of walls of demolished building.
Notes:
The accidental habitat has conditions which resemble an hydroponic environment: the rhizomes thick, long, radiating, with very long whitish roots. Leaves with transverse septae only. Flowers immature: tepals acuminate. Growing with Juncus articulatus: only plants on site.
