Notes:
Epiphytic on tall cultivated Canary Island palm, second one up in a row near Phytolacca dioica. Fig c. 7 m up the trunk, c. 2 m below living palm fronds; 6 main fig branches many over 2 m long. First observed in November 1995 and apeared a similar size then (EKC). Two very large Moreton Bay figs exist in the park, one c. 70 m NE, the other c. 80 m to SW. There appears to be another wild Moreton Bay fig growing in the head of the same Canary Island palm of at least a similar size. First wild record for New Zealand? No Port Jackson figs are present in the park. Specimen over 2 sheets AK 228402 and AK 228442
