Habitat:
Old garden area in valley, shady site beneath trees.
Notes:
Small tree c.6m high. Bark smooth, dark, not collected, evergreen. Leaves very dark green and glossy beneath, deep green beneath. Young acorn cups finely appressed brown tomentulose, ringed. Cultivation relic.
