Notes:
Herbaceous perennial, forming a large thicket-like clump with erect simple stems (except towards top) 2-2.5m high. Plant spicily aromatic. Corolla not a-lipped, 3-4mm long, yellow; lobes about 1mm long, straight (a long and 2 short). Corolla tube with ring of hairs below stamen insertion. Style gynobasic; branches subequal. Calyx dotted with red, sessile glands.
