Notes:
GM 52/20. Leaves green, spiny margins. Male inflorescence with creamy-white bracts, fragrant; the whole structure pendulous. Young female inflorescence erect, surrounding bracts creamy-white. Stigmas +/- elongated but very variable in shape. Fruit ≤7 x 3.7 x 3.7 (deep) cm, apical areas of carpels convex. Fruit in fruit collection: female inflorescence spadix and phalange from a syncarp. From three trees. Mangaian name Ara ta'atai.
