Erect annual herbs with single stems to c.75cm high. Foliage bright green. Ray florets deep pink usually, sometimes rose. See Suppl. label.

Supplementary remarks:
Rays mostly 2.2 - 4.2 cm long, sometimes less in very poor soil or gravel when plants can be only a few cm high (< 10 cm), often with crimson patch at base; the whole flower forming a saucer. Commonly adventive in garden and on gravel driveway; not planted for several years.
