Habitat:
In small plantation of tall eucalyptus. Cultivation relic?.
Notes:
Evergreen, small tree c.3m high; habit sparse. Shoots dark purple. Leaves dark shining green above, +/- bullate, grey-green below with pink midrib. Fruit in corymbose inflorescences, 4-6mm diameter, deep red, subglobose, tending obovoid. Probably planted in the late 1940's or in the 1950's. WRS, 4/6/1996
