Erect aromatic herbs. Capitula 3-4cm across. Rays yellowish-orange or deep red, 1.2-1.8x1-1.3cm, apical area truncate or shallowly concave. Disc yellow orange. A few plants. Presumably "French marigolds" were once cultivated nearby
