Habitat:
Hillside in main valley. Fernland with scattered small trees.
Notes:
Small tree 3-4m high, open habit. Shoots with prominent pale leaf scars. Leaves somewhat shining. Inflorescence pendent on recurved peduncles. Florets orange; corolla 4.5-5cm; style c.6.5cm. Very common with a number of inflorescences still in flower.
