Notes:
Corms tending flattened; outer scales deep brown. Lower stem sheaths finely purple-dotted. Leaves glaucous, appearing in spring. Flowers +/- 2-ranked and yet appearing secund. Sheath of flowers green and herbaceous. Perianth 7.5-10 cm long from base of tube, pink, with the three smaller and lower segments having a ± oblanceolate central whitish patch bordered crimson; tube of perianth c. 4 cm long, gradually widening; limb irregular, the large posterior segment c. 3.8-5.6 x (1.5)-2-2.7 cm, slightly curving forwards; lower three segments 1-1.4 cm wide, tending recurved towards apex. Anthers mauve. Filaments, style and stigmas pale pink.
