Habitat:
Metrosideros forest, by small track through old lava.
Notes:
Shrub 2-3m high. Leaves glossy green with pale midrib and main veins above. Fruit 5-7mm across, globose, turning from yellowish to orange-red and finally reddish-black. A number of plants.
