Habitat:
Metrosideros-dominant forest, on gentle slope of volcanic rubble by small track.
Notes:
Rosette-Forming herb; leaves often purplish. Florets yellow, the longer outer ones 1.6-1.8cm long, +/- green or brownish on reverse. Phyllaries green or purplish-green; inner with narrow scarious margins. Scattered plants.
