Habitat:
Metrosideros dominant forest, on gentle slope of volcanic rubble. Shade.
Notes:
Rhizomatous herb; rhizomes thick. Leaves dull green; petiole speckled purple towards base. Spathe white, 12-13 cm long, including apical mucro nearly 1.5 cm long, the whole spathe becoming recurved. Spadix orange-yellow. A number of plants.
