Habitat:
Margin of Pinus radiata windbreak on seaward side of houses.
Notes:
Succulent sprawling subshrub, with stems to 60-70cm high when leaning on other vegetation. Stems pinkish or pale brown when young. Leaves +/- erect, at least above curving basal area, to 2.7-(3)cm long, glaucous - green, subterete, rather flattened above. Flowers opening in day when warm, c.7 cm across. Petals deep shining pink, 2-3 (latter outer) cm long. Many old fruits present.Adventive, a few patches / plants only but common in cultivation in the vicinity.
