Habitat:
Conifer plantings in valley. Understory in shade.
Notes:
Shrub 2-2.5m high, aromatic and with clammy and viscid young vegetative parts. Racemes of flowers pendent. Flowers pale pink at early anthesis, ageing to deeper pink. Calyx 8-10mm long (i.e. including hypanthium). Petals c.4mm long abundant and forming an understorey.
