Old plantation area, now reverting to forest partly.
Notes:
Large spreading shrub to 3-4 m high, forming a thicket. Leaves aromatic lemon scented, dark shining green above. Petals c. 2.5 cm long, narrow oblong thick, white inside, pinkish outside. Flowers fragrant. Fruit a lemon, c.8-11 x 6.5-8.5cm, broadly ovoid with distinct ± rounded apical projection, yellow and rather rough skin. Skin very thick, to c.2.5cm at the top. Segments very pale with typical sour lemon taste. From same thicket as Sykes 1231/K.
