Notes:
Stems erect, arising from creeping rhizomes. Leaves thick and succulent, often red-tinged, especially around marginal teeth. Calyx inflated, green to heavily red-flushed. Corolla red in upper half, see spplementary label.

Corolla cont. [continued]; green below, constricted at top of ovary; lobes 12-14 mm long, triangular-ovate, not diverging until flower ageing. Stamens white, c. 3.3 cm long.
