Habitat:
Steep open slope, with low open scrub and herbs.
Notes:
Young tree c. 3m high; bark starting to roughen, pale pinkish. Habit dense. Second year old shoots grey-brown. Needles forward pointing, rather bluish-green. Cones to c. 10cm long unopened. A few scattered trees.
