In grove of cultivated trees; in crevice of Taxodium trunk.
Notes:
Young tree. Leaves dark glossy green above, paler below. Bud sheath pink on exposed side. Isolated adventive plant. A putative parent such as Sykes 272/90 (CHR473677) grew nearby. The related F. macrophylla is in this park but is not known to form viable seed.
