Habitat:
Lowland podocarp forest remnant; browsed understorey.
Notes:
Shrubby plant (stems woody towards base), c.1m high. Leaves foetid when crushed. Fruit subglobose (slightly longer than broad, shining scarlet or orange-red, 10-12mm diameter). Common.
