Habitat:
Under kanuka scrub ( up to 7m tall) and in slips and in grassland, but most abundant under scrub near stream bank.
Very common. Forming large creeping colonies near stream and under scrub. All specimens seen had prominent cresting on at least 50% of the population. Also present unidentified grass, de Lange 417 (CHR 472745).
