Habitat:
Limestone bluff, open grassy top.
Notes:
Small shrub c.30cm high, dense and compact habit, strongly thyme-scented when touched. Young shoots pale yellowish. Leaves grey-green above, paler below. Calyx +/- purple, especially the teeth and veins. Corolla pale pinkish-mauve. Corolla cont.; - c.6mm long to apex of recurved, short, bilobed upper lip. Lower lip lobes 3, 2-2.5 mm long, the lowest slightly the longest and pointing downwards, all oblong. Anthers rosy-mauve; filaments very pale. Fairly common for a few metres back from edge of bluff.
