Notes:
Erect herb with pinkish taproot, to c.75cm high. Leaves with veins tending purple, especially below. Inflorescences all erect. Flowers (bracteoles and perianth) deep crimson.One of many plants which have annually grown spontaneously since first cultivated in 1985.
