Habitat:
Beside track to makatea, margin of Barringtonia forest.
Notes:
Erect herb c.1.5m high. Lower leaves very large [not collected]. Inflorescence clammy. Corolla 4.7 - 4.9cm, tube greenish-white, suddenly ampliate in upper part; lobes spreading, 7-8mm long, wider, pink. Very local but common there. Seeds c. 0.5 mm long, rugose.
