Notes:
Poa anceps, Thuidium furfurosum, Hydrocotyle heteromeria. This species was very common on the nearby Te Maika Peninsula when I was last there in August 1982. I suspect it has been in the Kawhia area for a long time as this area was the site of trade with Sydney in the 1820 - 1830's with much grass seed and other products coming from there. See suppl. label.
Observed species:
Hydrocotyle heteromeria
Poa anceps
Thuidium furfurosum
