Habitat:
Near beach, between road and railway; sand, open herb community.
Notes:
Fleshy herb with thick white rhizomes. Leaves in spiral rosettes, spine-tipped, thick,tough and revolute, the inward curling margins cream or pale yellow; prickles brown. Larger leaves to c.1m long, not collected. Spreading up to and across railway tracks vegetatively. Flower spikes not seen. `Marginata'
