Among boulders just above high water, sandy pockets.
Notes:
Rhizomatous grass with aerial stems erect and forming a small dense patch. Inflorescence of 2 racemes remaining +/- parallel to each other. Spikelets green. Stigmas dark purple. Just below these plants grew the main population in silt affected by high water. Here no plants were flowering.1991/ Duplicate to MO.
