Valley bottom in fairly moist soil; with other larger trees. Cultivated.
Notes:
Determined as labelled. Very small, poorly growing tree c.3m high. Petioles dark red. Lamina pale grey below, heavily attacked with pear slug. Fruit 1.5-1.7cm across, subglobose (slightly flattened), glossy orange-red.
