Habitat:
Valley bottom mixed broad-leaved forest. Margin of swampy clearing.
Notes:
Tree 5-6m, young. Bark flaking, pale brown. Leaves dark glossy green above. Petioles and young shoots dark red. No flowers but those high on neighbouring tree white.
