Rhizomatous herb; roots (or rhizomes) long creeping, orange inside. Petioles and scapes erect; purple spotted or flushed purple. Lamina glaucous below. Petals 1.7-2cm long, broad oblong-obvate, white, generally patent, ephemeral.
