Habitat:
Taiga on slope.
Notes:
Small tree a few metres high. Bark rough and grey. Shoots rather light brown. Buds resinous, brown. Leaves twisted, rather light green. (None on trees around were glaucous). Cones rather pale when fresh, opening on tree and then falling later. The dominant sp.but no large trees seen.
