Cultivated on sunny hillside slope.
Notes:
Young trees (specimens from 2), 1 or 3m high. Shoots +/- dark green in first year. Buds with dark brown free scale apices. Foliage with glaucous stomatal bands, often bent on larger tree. Cone not collected, one small deformed one present but had thick fleshy scales.
