Alpine W facing slope dominated by Chionochloa australis, with Senecio bidwillii, Hebe "masonae" and Astelia nervosa prominent.

Notes:
Conglomerate bedrock, with small cascading stream and numerous rock outcrops and boulders. Associated with Plagiochila retrospectans. Irrigated rock at margin of cascade. Very common at stream margin. I am unable to compare this this to herbarium material.
