Habitat:
Steep gully side facing west; old rubbish tip site. Adventive.
Notes:
Succulent plant c.2m high with stout "trunk'. Stem segments shining deep green. Flower buds with glossy purple bracts. Perianth segments 2.5-nearly 3.5cm × 8-15mm, +/-oblong, yellow with purple on middle of outer segments. Stamens and style creamy-white. Small patch spreading from dumping of plants.
