Partially beneath canopy of very large camphor tree.
Notes:
Tree c.8-9m with open widespreading crown. Bark smooth and yellowish- grey. Leaves scabridulous above, pale green below. Syncarp 2-2.5cm diameter, globose, (ie. excluding protruding Fruiting carpels.) Carpels 7-10mm long, ± oblanceolate, orange-red and shining, flesh sweetish and viscid; seed, in apical notch, brown. A common species, freely seeding all around. This tree had the entire leaves often (? usually) associated with reproductive shoots but are narrower than usual. Sheets A to B
