Heavily modified indigenous forest remnant. +/- adventive.
Notes:
Vigorous scrambling shrub, +/- lianoid. Very young leaves and shoots purple; mature leaves dark green, excepting purplish petioles. Corolla tube c. 14 cm to start of "cup"and greenish yellow; cup c.20cm diam and 8cm deep, yellow with median purple stripe. Filaments white; anthers bluish.
