Young tree c.1.5m high; bark beginning to flake [not collected]; habit pyramidal. Leaves blue green, twisted. Unopened cones 5.5cm long, directed down-wards, narrow ovoid, lower umbos strongly pointing backwards,soon falling when open. Open cone in coll. poss from another tree. A few trees seen
