Habitat:
On open slope just below summit on east side.
Notes:
Small tree 2.5-3m high. Bark grey, in small flakes; habit rather dense with foliage "bunched" and forward pointing. Buds resinous, dark brown. Cones backwards pointing, 4-4.5cm long (unopened), cylindric ovoid, purplish- green +/- symmetric. 1 tree.
