Ex Herbarium Leiden. Joint expedition of Rijksherbarium, Leiden, and Division of Botany, Lae, with the cooperation of the Department of Posts and Telegraphs, Port Moresby. Plants of New Guinea. Small herb, branching at base, Leaves awl-shaped, green. Calyx tube whitish at base, purple in upper half, teeth green. Corolla purple outside, inside violet, intermediaries violet. Filament, AA whitish. Gentiana piundensis (but flowers not white).
