Habitat:
On small tree by road near farm turnoff.
Notes:
Vine. Leaflets shining above, whitish beneath. Flowers pendant. Hypanthium c. 5 cm long. Perianth segments c. 4.5 cm long, pink, elliptic; outer brownish outside towards middle and with dorsal awn near apex. Corona 1.5-1.7 cm long, deep blue. Stigmas and anthers green. Filaments c. 1.5 cm long. Fruit globular, c. 5 cm diam. An isolated plant but commonly wild in the area.
