Habitat:
Valley; on east facing slope. Roadside bank below; parent trees in the vicinity. Adventive.
Notes:
Young tree 5-6m high, erect. Bud scales, chestnut centre, [recurved] towards apex. Shoots brown. Conelet c.3cm long barrel-shaped. Cone in collection, shining brown.
