Notes:
Unbranched, arboresent succulent with "trunk" (incl. infl. stem) c.70cm high and at least 2cm thick, with prominent elongated scars (not collected). Infl. terminal, glabrous. Main rosette leaves to c. 17x5cm, rather narrowly obovate, green, to 4mm thick, flat, with reddish tinge margin near distal end; apex apiculate. Infl. large pryamidal with acute apex, only lateral branches coll. Fls not secund. Calyx lobes 1.5-1.8 mm long, broadly pyramidal. Petals 10-12 in no. (3fls) golden, 7-9x2-2.5mm, narrowly oblong-elliptic Stamens 6-7mm long, yellow, little difference in length between whorls. Carpels (incl. styles) c. 5mm long, greenish-yellow. Scales very small, wider than long, pale yellowish. Very few scattered plants.
